Having grown up and had worked professionally in hong kong prior coming to the states, one hard lesson i had to learn in a hard way was this : in hong kong, say in a working ENVIRONMENT, there is a unspoken rule which is to say, “if you work hard, your boss will recognize your talents and diligence, so eventually you will be put where you are supposed to be”. Whereas in America, if you don’t say what you want and let it be known, you are an idoit, because those things will not come to you automatically – a very important lesson learned.>> Back to Many Faces
