I am a chinese american burlesque performer based in nyc. I think burlesque is a woman positive artform with a long history in america, but it is still considered taboo in chinese culture. i love performing and bringing my heritage to the audience through dance and costume. it is important to me as an asian woman to be able to define my own idea of sexuality and how that is presented and owned by the public.
