Before immigrating to the US, my family immigrated to the Philippines from China in search of new opportunities. I was born in the Philippines and worked as a merchant, trading commodities in Malaysia and the various islands of the Philippines. After attempting to open my own business in the Philippines I sought out to find new opportunities for my wife and child. On Oct. 18, 1989 I immigrated to the US and worked various jobs to support my family back home. I did not see my son until he and my wife immigrated in 1993. The United States has been good to us, and has proved to be the land of opportunity.>> Back to Many Faces
