Growing up in the Bay Area, I never experienced any internal or external conflict about being Chinese-American. I simply was. It was only after leaving California to attend college on the East Coast, study abroad in Europe, and work in Asia that I began to realize that my being both Chinese and American was incredibly confusing to many people.>> Back to Many Faces
